Procedure of Recruitment & Training of Security Personnel

At Delhi Security Service, we follow a systematic recruitment and training process to ensure that security personnel deployed at client locations are physically fit, professionally trained, disciplined, and suitable for their assigned responsibilities.

Candidates are carefully screened and evaluated before deployment. Background verification and other required checks are conducted to help ensure the reliability and suitability of our security personnel.

Selection Criteria for Security Personnel

The following criteria are considered during the selection of security guards:

  • Age: Above 18 years and below 55 years.
  • Height: Minimum 160 cm for male candidates and 150 cm for female candidates.
  • Weight: Should be appropriate according to standard height-to-weight requirements.
  • Chest: Male candidates should have a minimum chest measurement of 80 cm with an expansion of 4 cm. No minimum chest requirement for female candidates.
  • Eyesight: Suitable distant and near vision, with or without correction, and free from color blindness.
  • Hearing: Candidates should be free from significant hearing defects.
  • Physical Fitness: Candidates should be free from knock knees, flat feet, or other conditions that may affect their ability to perform security duties.
  • Physical Condition: Candidates should not have any physical handicap or deformity that prevents them from performing their assigned responsibilities.
  • Police / Background Record: Candidates should have no conviction by a court of law.
  • Employment Record: Candidates should not have a history of dismissal or suspension due to serious misconduct or moral turpitude.
  • Citizenship: Candidates must be citizens of India.
